Would any examples exist of an SMS application using an SVG interface?

How is SVG supported in SMS? Any visual assistance inside the IDE?

(have searched the forum for "svg" but the search engine frowns on DOM-type search terms)

AFAIK, there's a project demo  "SMS\projects\Featured Demos\API\HTML5 DOM\Splash Screen" that uses SVG.

Probably, they use the extension Ink2SmartCanvas which exports SVG to HTML5 Canvas in a flavor that Smart Mobile Studio can handle the data.

Thanks very much for that reply.

It seems that it translates SVG to a format that can be used in the Canvas, which is very useful by itself. I was wondering, however, whether SVG is supported in a more direct fashion, without the use of the Canvas.

On the other hand, if the SVG is converted to a format to be handled inside the Canvas, do the individual SVG parts remain accessible for real-time manipulation? (rotation, scaling, etc.)

Chances are great I'm asking obvious questions, but I'm just starting to explore this domain.
