I'm curious how others handle debugging of SMS projects? I mostly use Chrome and it's debugging tools but I'm not very satisfied with my productivity there or ease of use (compared to Delphi debugging).

Are there any tricks that help in this process or we're doomed to WriteLn and what browsers have to offer?

That's how I do it too ;(

in the new rtl coming apparently there is a watch/observe function built in

you can use this mechanism in the current version too

see  http://forums.smartm...atch#entry16049

Btw

it might be advantageous to subscribe to the quartex server as well

There are 2 SMS groups : Smart Pascal News and Smart Pascal Questions

Quartexnor (jon) is monitoring this quite closely so Q&A turnaround time may be a lot faster

Thanks I'll wait for update to try it out, it would help in responding to data changes. For debugging itself, perhaps as some kind of watch list.

Thanks, I've already subscribed couple of days ago. I've just asked there as well, I'll respond back here if Jon has some good advice on this matter.
