    rotate menu

Hi, i've attached VERY simple example something that one could expand to truly rotate menu. To rotate press left mouse button and move and then release. To stop you can wait or press left mouse button again. It's only for fun. Would be nice to see some tutorial how to create menus (like TMainMenu of Lazarus or Delphi). Martin rotateMenu.7z
  2. of course, I know. I think that such solutions earlier or later will be a main applications GUI instead of tradicional desktops created e.g. in Delphi/Lazarus/c++. Though i've bought 2xtimes Delphi for my work (D2005 and later XE2) i started to program in Lazarus(probably everyone know why ).

  4. You're right.Surely i'll but at the moment it's only for fun. I'm not web developer. There is what i do in full time job: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkgpl8weF0f_j4hxRtgTn-w . Everything programmed in Pascal.
  5. I'm glad you like it unfortunatelly my trial license is over so to write my next game and then publish it with code i have to change the system date so far

    simple game

Hi, there is simple game i've written for my children. Hope you enjoy this game too probably a code is not mastery but it works guessing game for children.7z
  8. Ok, i did some work around, simply declared all images in array.and later this array i assigned to another array. Simply it looks like: <code> var i,j,k : Integer; lista_image : array[0..elements-1] of TW3Image=(im1,im2,im3,im4,im5,im6,im7,im8,im9,im10,im11,im12,im13,im14,im15,im16,im17,im18,im19,im20); . . k:=0; for i:=0 to 4 do for j:=0 to 3 do begin lista[i,j].image:=lista_image[k]; inc(k); end; </code> thread closed.
  9. Hi, is there a very useful FindComponent or something similar ? I would like to add few images on form to an array, ordinary task. Martin BTW. nice new design!
  10. Ok,i've spent over one hour or more to notice small space between pict[sPACE]1.jpg. )))
  11. Hi, again me:) sorry for maybe stupid question, but curve learning from Laz or Delphi is a little problematic for me.. On the form put w3Image named it "im1". Then added to resources some picture named pict1.jpg. In the InitializeForm written: im1.loadFromURL('./res/pict1.jpg'); In the directory /res is pict1.jpg. After execution expected to see this image, but could not. So there must be other way?
  12. Hi like above in topic. I couldn't find it. Could someone help me and tell what should i use or at least some work around. Simply i:=0; repeat inc(i) until i=1000000; seems to me very stupid and i'm not sure it's correct. Martin
  13. Yes, i've used OnKeyDown on mainform. but calling setfocus in InitializeForm gives no result.
  14. finally found solution: <code> procedure TForm1.KeyDownEvent(mCode: integer); begin case mCode of 66 : labb.caption:='Hello'; end; end; procedure TForm1.InitializeForm; begin inherited; // this is a good place to initialize components asm window.onkeydown = function(e) { TForm1.KeyDownEvent(Self,e.keyCode); } window.focus(); end; KeyDownEvent(0); end; </code> But not sure if there is some more elegant solution?
