Chatbots are a good UI addition and I've been looking for a good one to use for some time

Most chatbots rely on a question/answer pair list or an entity/intent structure which can be time consuming to implement

The one which is probably the easiest to get up and running may be Albert from NoHold Inc

It simply takes a msWord document containing the domain knowledge.

The document has to be formatted in a specific way but nothing too intricate.

If all goes well the build process returns a bot-url.

The chatbot can be accessed in natural language or through a list menu.

It is pretty good at returning the required information although has trouble with multi-part questions

I tried out using Primož Gabrijelcic "Asmartbook" as the domain source and that works fine.

The demo here uses a generic instruction file which contains information on Italy (economy, food, demographics etc)

Just type in 'how many people live in italy' and questions like that

Simple iFrame with <iFrame>.Src = bot-url

Note : takes a couple of seconds to load

Note : demo has been set to expire by end of year
